Some EU citizens cannot afford to sufficiently heat their homes

In 2018, seven percent of European Union (EU) citizens said in an annual EU survey on income and living conditions (EU-SILC) coordinated by Eurostat that they could not afford to heat their home sufficiently. This share of population peaked in 2012 (11%), and has fallen continuously in subsequent years.
